Account Support for New Year’s Eve

Our Account Management and Account Support teams are on hand throughout the festive period, to offer any support you need in the running of New Year’s Eve events. It’s been a big year for new features, designed to give the best possible ticketing experience to promoters and customers alike. Here’s some details on the new tools you can employ, and essential information for how we’re running for the rest of the year.

Re:Sell

Skiddle’s official ticket resale platform. If your whole event, or just a single ticket option (e.g VIP), looks like it’s selling out, then activate Re:Sell for a secure way for customers to return tickets for resale. Increase attendance by reducing the drop-off, take action against ticket touts and increase revenue by reselling returned tickets at a higher price. For more information click here.

Waiting List

We will automatically begin collecting data for those interested in your event should tickets become unavailable. As soon as more tickets go on sale, extra allocation or returned orders (in conjunction with Re:Sell), they’ll be allocated to customers on the waiting list automatically who have a window to purchase. Cool:Off

Offer customers a 72 hour grace period on their ticket orders. This increases impulse purchases, customer peace of mind, repeat business and all round good vibes to your buyers. This is a feature completely unique to Skiddle. For more information click here.

Ticket Close Times

The final hours before venues across the country open their doors for NYE events, are a crucial sales window. Last minute ticket sales are big news, so make sure your tickets are set to close as late as possible! The Skiddle Rapidscan App will sync automatically and update with new orders, meaning tickets can remain on sale even after your doors have opened.

Check and edit the close times on your tickets through the promotion centre. If you’re unsure on how to do this, just drop us a line.

Remittance

Ticket remittance will be processed on the following dates only over the festive period:

Thursday 22nd December
Wednesday 28th December
Wednesday 4th January

If you’re expecting a payment over this period please remember to check the bank details we have on your account correct (promotion centre > sell tickets > bank details).

Sunday 25th December (Christmas Day) closed
Monday 26th December (Boxing Day) 10am – 5pm
Tuesday 27th December (Bank holiday) 10am – 5pm
Wednesday 28th December 9am – 6pm
Thursday 29th December 9am – 6pm
Friday 30th December 9am – 6pm
Saturday 31st December (New Year’s Eve)     9am – 7pm
Sunday 1st January (New Year’s Day) 10am – 5pm
Monday 2nd January (Bank holiday) 10am – 5pm
