Come join Skiddle at ADE 2019

You probably don’t need us to tell you about the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), but just in case you do…

ADE, running from Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th October, is one of the most important music gatherings in the world. With over 400,000 visitors, 2500 performing artists, 1000 events and 600 speakers spread over 200 locations around the city, it is a proper whopper.

Both a conference and festival (with a pretty healthy fringe scene too), the ADE attracts all sorts, from big name DJs (there’s a good chance you’ll spot the likes of Nina Kraviz, Sven Vath and Black Coffee strolling the streets, grabbing a coffee or, a little later on, getting up to no good) to label execs, techies, agents, promoters, venue owners, music students and, of course, dedicated ravers.

As you’d expect, ADE is a right old mixed bag. You could find yourself, at 10am, dropping into a brain-hacking breakfast at Spaces Vijzelstraat, then heading to a meet-and-greet at a techno cafe for lunch, before attending a ‘how to smash it on Youtube’ panel in the afternoon, and onto free drinks with Skiddle in the evening for a wind-down (or up) and catch-up… you might even do some business.

Did we mention the free drinks? It’s going to be at the Rode Hoed (Red Hat), Keizersgracht 102, 1015 CV Amsterdam, between 7:30pm and 9pm on Thursday 17th October.

If you’re at ADE, it’ll be a great chance to meet some of the Skiddle team, from the Business Development department to Marketing, Account Management and Content/Social Media. If you’ve got any questions, whether it’s about how to sell more tickets or how to feature on our Instagram channel, this is the perfect time to do it.

Around even earlier in the week? (You’re keen, we like that.) We’re also co-hosting an event with the Association for Electronic Music (AFEM) at W Amsterdam, Spuistraat 175, 1012 VN Amsterdam, Netherlands on Tuesday 15th October from 7pm to 10pm. Skiddle will be present in the AFEM Lounge alongside music publishing firm Sentric and the Society of Authors, Composers and Publishers of Music (SACEM). Yes there’s free drinks. Probably snacks too.
