The ticketing industry is traditionally very inflexible with refunds – once you’ve booked, there’s no changing your mind. However, look at the retail sector and it’s a known fact that offering a little flexibility to suit the customer can substantially boost sales by encouraging impulse buys.
With this in mind, Skiddle have launched an industry first: Cool:Off. This new opt-in service allows the customer 72 hours after purchase to change their mind and receive a refund.
Since rolling out Cool:Off to a number of our promoters, we’ve seen fantastic results, with a 24.2% increase in sales, with less than 1% of customers requesting a refund.
