Welcome to the Skiddle App for Android

Following the enormously well received release of the Skiddle app for the iPhone at the tail end of last year, we’re proud to announce that the Android version is here in all its radiant glory and available to download from Google Play.

The app, which offers all the best features of the Skiddle website has already become a favourite with customers, enjoying 150,000 downloads to date and a regular slot in the top 25 music apps in the UK. Like the website, the app features over 100,000 gigs, clubnights and festivals, more than rivals like Dice, Ticketmaster,Songkick and Resident Advisor. Events can be easily sorted in its streamlined search engine by genre, date, and location, so customers searching for events tailored to their needs have never had it easier.

Once a customer buys a ticket through the app, it remains on their phone, revolutionising event entry and removing the headache of dealing with customers who’ve misplacing theirs. And unlike most what’s on apps currently on the market, the Skiddle app is not specific to one or two cities, but the whole of the UK.

The app is programmed to work with a consumer’s location and musical interests to recommend events tailor made to them, cleverly pulling together personalised suggestions that become smarter the more someone uses the app. Push notifications alert customers to events they will be interested in, with sections set aside for curated events around seasonal trends and customer interests.
