Day 20: Final Push – Keep your tickets on sale until the last minute

So it’s New Year’s Eve and it’s Day 20 in our series of blogs providing you lot with hints, tips and ideas for New Year’s Eve event promotion online and with Skiddle. Hope you’ve enjoyed – it’s been great to see so many people out there using some of the strategies proposed throughout this series – hopefully they’ve helped!

Today’s blog post is a simple thank you, without the event promoters who choose to use the Skiddle platform there would be no Skiddle.com. Hopefully you’ve really felt the benefit of our continued drive to develop the site and expand our market penetration. The feedback from both event organizers and punters has been really positive – so hopefully we’re doing something right!

Keep promoting New Year’s Eve events

Really nothing more is left to say other than keep on pushing, sales for New Year’s Eve events continue throughout the day and it’s generally our busiest day for traffic in the whole year with people looking for information and tickets.

Crucially, keep your tickets onsale for as long as you can, with the hundreds of thousands of people that will be on Skiddle.com today it’s not worth risking taking them down early and missing out on those potential extra sales.

There’s still time

Remember to head over to the Promotion Centre if you want to change your listing, update your allocation or even if you’ve not yet listed your event or put it on sale (if you do it early enough there’s still time to have an impact!).

Thank you

Thanks again, have a great end to 2013 and we’ll see you in 2014!
