How to benefit from bigger events going live

Today has been a very busy day on Skiddle with events being set on sale and lineup announcements left, right and centre. As a smaller event you might be wondering what’s in it for you?

Today we’ve seen event announcements and tickets going on sale for events such as:

Cocoon in the Park
Boardmasters
NASS Festival
South West Four
Wireless Festival (which sold out in around 4 minutes!)

These are all big announcements and drag a good amount of additional traffic onto Skiddle. It’s crucial that you make sure your events are listed on Skiddle with tickets available because people are visiting the site looking for festival tickets (and are sometimes not able to get hold of them because they’ve sold out).

Keep an eye on the news announcements on Skiddle as well as on the websites of the big events and their Facebook pages and you can find your brand piggy-backing off a wave of brand marketing and that can only be great news for your own event.

Visit Skiddle’s Promotion Centre and make sure your event is listed, when it should be!
