Livebookings, Skiddle’s Restaurant Partner Announces Partnership With Michelin


Michelin recently announced they have formed a strategic partnership with Skiddle partner, Livebookings. The partnership not only sees Livebookings’ reservations systems being into Michelin’s website, but also see Michelin becoming a minority investor in Livebookings.

The announcement sees Livebookings increasing their commitments in Europe which will see an increase in the number of bookable restaurants in all their key European marekets.

Chief executive Alain Cuq of Michelin Travel Partner commented: “Michelin had made this exciting move forward after a full evaluation of all options available. Livebookings’ proven, innovative technology is uniquely placed to provide the scale and flexibility we need to propose new value added services to the restaurants and expand into new markets.”

Livebookings is one of Europe’s fasted growing tech businesses, with a reservations growth curve of around 45% year on year, having processed around 18 million bookings throughout the 23 countries in Europe it operates, of which, Skiddle’s added a not-insignificant number of bookings.

We believe this new partnership between Livebookings and Michelin will only serve to strengthen Skiddle’s restaurant bookings offering and is a positive development for the future of our partnership with the restaurant reservations technology provider.
