Following the Prime Minister’s most recent announcements, concerning the further relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions today (Monday 12 April), it has been confirmed that the government’s roadmap out of lockdown targets have yet again been met, and that we will all indeed see a limited re-opening of the hospitality sector and parts of the entertainment sector.

In light of this confirmation, we’d like to ensure you that it is not too late to get your events listed in the following weeks, as we head positively towards Step 3 of England’s roadmap, which consists of the following criteria (see image below):

Student loans incoming!

Student loans will drop into bank accounts from 22nd April, making the final week of April a great time to launch your events if you have some plans in the pipeline. If you have any questions regarding listing your events, please do not hesitate to contact your dedicated Account Manager or our Account Support Team – promoters@skiddle.com.

Adding important details to your events…

When listing your events, it’s important to include as much detail as possible with regards to ticketing for all applicable ages, what certain ticket types include (i.e. VIP), your entry set up, COVID-secure measures in place and more. So here we’ve listed a few resources to help you make this as clear as possible for Skiddle customers:

  • Child tickets – please add tickets for all applicable ages, comprehensive information on these ages, and whether babies / toddlers need tickets.
  • Table bookings – for more information on how to make these tickets and listings clearer, read our Promotion Centre blog here.
  • COVID-secure measures – last year, Skiddle made it mandatory for promoters to highlight what measures they are taking in order to comply with social distancing guidelines. Read more about our checklists here.
