New Years Eve Support from the Accounts Team

It’s that time of year again! December is well and truly upon us, and New Year’s Eve is fast approaching. As always our team of Account Managers and Account Support staff are here to help, guiding you through this busy period and ensuring your New Year events run smoothly.

Choosing Skiddle gives you access to a host of unique tools, all designed to enhance the buying experience for your customers. For anyone new to us, here’s a brief recap:

Re:Sell – Skiddle’s official ticket resale platform. If your whole event, or just a single ticket option (e.g VIP), looks like it’s selling out, then activate Re:Sell for a secure way for customers to return tickets for resale. Increase attendance by reducing the drop-off, take action against ticket touts and increase revenue by reselling returned tickets at a higher price. For more information click here.

Waiting List – We will automatically begin collecting data for those interested in your event should tickets become unavailable. As soon as more tickets go on sale, extra allocation or returned orders (in conjunction with Re:Sell), they’ll be allocated to customers on the waiting list automatically who have a window to purchase. Cool:Off – Offer customers a 72 hour grace period on their ticket orders. This increases impulse purchases, customer peace of mind, repeat business and all-round good vibes to your buyers. This is a feature completely unique to Skiddle. For more information click here.

Ticket Close Times
Last minute ticket sales on New Years Eve are big news, so make sure your tickets are on sale and available as late as possible! The Skiddle Rapidscan App will sync automatically and update with new orders, meaning tickets can remain on sale even after your doors have opened (App device/s must be connected to wifi / 4G!).

Check and edit the close times on your tickets through the promotion centre. If you’re unsure on how to do this, just drop us a line.

Remittance
Our remittance cycles over the 2018 festive period will be on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 25th December (clearing Friday 28th)
  • Thursday 27th December (clearing Monday 31st)
  • Tuesday 1st January (clearing Friday 4th)
  • Thursday 3rd January (clearing Monday 7th)
