On Green Friday, Skiddle raised £4739.40 for Macmillan Cancer Support!
Last week, on Friday 29th November, you may have noticed that Skiddle turned Black Friday green, offering a whole load of discounted tickets via our website and app while donating 20p from every ticket sold to Macmillan Cancer Support.
We’re very happy to announce that over the course of 24 hours, we raised a total of £4739.40 + VAT.
We’ve been working with Macmillan Cancer Support for some time now, raising almost £250,000 via our checkout charity. The relationship began following the passing of our friend and colleague, Christopher Glaba, who sadly lost his battle with cancer in December 2016.
We hope that the money raised last Friday goes some way towards helping those affected by cancer. We’ve committed to raising another £250,000 for Macmillan in the next three years, so if you have any ideas to help us reach that target then please get in touch!
