Promoter Update: What’s happening at Skiddle?

It’s been an exciting couple of weeks at Skiddle HQ and many of you will have heard rumours about the things we’re up to; we thought we’d explain how your events may benefit from Skiddle’s recent developments.

Big Name Partners

Most of you will know that Skiddle has a growing affiliate network of thousands of websites. Skiddle’s listings are used on sites such as Data Transmission (http://www.datatransmission.co.uk/), and Gigs and Festivals (http://www.gigsandfestivals.co.uk/) – your event will be shown on these websites at no extra cost if it meets certain criteria.

Recently we’ve announced a strategic partnership with Mixmag, with our events being combined with their own submissions, to power their new ticket shop (http://tickets.mixmag.net/)

This means when you add an event through Skiddle’s Promotion Centre you can be sure your events are getting the maximum possible exposure across multiple channels. Benefit from our affiliate network by adding your events with tickets now!

Focus on Editorial

Recently we’ve expanded the editorial team with new contributors, new full time staff and even a new News Editor. This additional capacity has enabled us to get more editorial content out there, allowing us to really focus on promoting the events selling tickets with us. For features and interviews please contact one of our account management team to discuss using editorial to promote your events or email editorial@skiddle.com.

The Festival Finder

Skiddle’s Festival Guide continues to be one of the UK’s biggest and this year we’ve gone an extra step in creating the most sophisticated festival search function available online: Skiddle’s Festival Finder. Users can search by a wide range of options to find the perfect festival for them. To ensure your festival is featured on Skiddle’s Festival Guide please email festivals@skiddle.com
