There seems to be more to consider than ever when putting on an event these days! We’re very aware that things are likely to change at the last minute too in order to conform to Government guidelines. Lately we have come across event capacities being reduced making an event oversold. Should this happen to you and your event, we ask that you communicate this with us as soon as possible so we can assess the situation and work with you to resolve any issues.
List your Freshers events (within Government guidelines)
At Skiddle we’ve seen an increase in the amount of socially distant events being added regionally, including Social Avenue in Manchester. While freshers 2020 events may be reduced, they’re certainly not cancelled. NTIA’s Nightclub and Venue Reopening Strategy
The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) alongside a group of entertainment and event providers and operators have commissioned the Institute of Occupational Medicine (IOM) to produce a report which examines the known science behind the transmission of the virus and the approach of the UK government to mitigating such transmission risk.
