Welcome to Skiddle’s Promoter Update. This week, we’ll be talking about our New Year’s campaign, the fantastic work of our Business Development Team, changes to our remittance schedule and more.
We’re delighted to announce that our New Year’s campaign launched last Friday. New Year is always a buzzword here at Skiddle, so our campaigns are always special. But we’re doubly excited about this year. It’s our biggest New Year’s campaign to date, with ads running across social media platforms, and on billboards and street posters in major cities UK-wide.
We’ll be running print advertorials, too. Taking inspiration from one of British film’s most memorable monologues, Trainspotting’s ‘Choose Life’, our ads will grace the pages of Crack Magazine and The Skinny, with a special appearance as part of a New Year’s Eve feature in The Metro.
Speaking about our ‘Choose Life’ campaign, our Head of Marketing, Jamie Scahill said:
“We are going all out for our end-of-year campaign as it’s the first proper New Year’s Eve since 2019, and there are thousands of events already listed on Skiddle gaining more views than ever before. We have full UK coverage via Crack Magazine, The Skinny and Metro newspapers, along with a full print campaign in all major cities with billboards, street posters and the London Underground all covered.
“Traffic will be at an all-time high throughout December. We’re expecting a combined reach of over one hundred million people seeing our ads, so we suggest adding Christmas and New Year Eve events straight away!”
‘Choose Skiddle’ showcases the variety of events we have to offer. We want to empower our customers to make everlasting memories, and our open letter – pictured above – will outline the aims of this year’s campaign.
Over the New Year’s period, our Inspire Me pages will be live across the Skiddle website. Our website has four million monthly users, all eager to get the lowdown on the best events happening up and down the country. Skiddle’s new signings
Every department at Skiddle works tirelessly to assist customers, help promoters and contribute to the growth of the business. That includes our Business Development Team, who scour the country searching for exciting new partnerships, welcoming new promoters and brands to the fold.
We published our monthly ‘Welcome To Skiddle’ article on the blog this week, highlighting the fantastic work of our Business Development Team. Q1 Launches and on-sales
We spoke about Q1 Launches in the first November 2022 update, and promoters have spent the month readying their events schedule for 2023. A whole host of tours, festivals and club nights went on sale, with last month being the busiest November on record for Q1 Launches. It’s a testament to the hard work put in by our Account Managers and the wider Skiddle team.
Christmas & New Year’s remittance dates
Our remittance schedule changes around the festive period. It’s important to note that around this time, there’ll be no remittance on Tuesday 27th December. Please find the dates for Christmas and New Year remittance below.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday
Black Friday and Cyber Monday have passed, but we wanted to celebrate the stats around our Inspire Me pages. We’re delighted to announce that we saw a 181% increase in page views compared to last year, and we’d like to say a big thank you to promoters that got in touch with us regarding showcasing their event on our Inspire Me pages.
