Welcome to Skiddle’s final Promoter Update of 2022, we hope you enjoyed the Christmas break. As the year draws to a close, we’ll be reminding you about last-minute New Year’s Eve listing checks and changes to our remittance schedule. Elsewhere, we’ll be giving you the chance to answer our Promoter Survey and our Blog Spotlight feature will return with tips on how to make your night run as smoothly as possible.
Optimise your NYE & NYD listings this week
Are you looking to make a splash with your New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day events? Spend some time optimising your listings today. With only two days to go before NYE and the final payday of the year falling on the 30th of December, people will be searching for an event to attend, and an optimised listing will be a massive help when trying to sell out your allocation.
Optimising a listing means taking care of the finer details. Ensure that your listings feature detailed event descriptions that include everything about the night, from location, venue and travel links to performers, genres and brands. It’ll help your event rank on search engines, and anyone following the performers at your night on Skiddle will receive a notification that they are to appear at the event.
You can use the ticket description box to offer deals to your customers. For example, to take advantage of last-minute sales, you could offer a free drink with the remaining allocation of tickets. Make sure to post this to socials with an eye-catching graphic, making as many potential customers aware of the deal.
While our offices have now reopened after the Christmas period, there are still changes to our remittance cycle. See the image below to find out about remittance across the New Year. Please ensure your bank details are current and up to date.
