The perfect time to make your events live

This Friday (29th) is payday. That means many Skiddle users will be browsing the website in hopes of securing tickets for some amazing events. If you’ve got an event you’re sitting on, now’s the perfect time to make it live and sell some tickets!

Making the most out of freshers

This year, A-Level results day falls on Thursday 18th of August. Students all over the UK will be booking events and freshers parties to celebrate their results, getting into their desired university, and letting loose with their friends.

Now’s a great time to start thinking about what events you’ll be putting on and making them live with as much information as possible to encourage them to get out and celebrate!

Implementation of Same Day Payment Fees and Bounceback Charges

As per our June 29th newsletter, a few changes were implemented this Monday (25th). 

One of those changes was to the Same Day Payment fees. From Monday the 25th, remittance processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays has been increased to £10 + VAT. 

The Bounceback Charge is a new fee in which you’ll only be charged if you’ve entered your bank details incorrectly, resulting in Skiddle having to resend your remittance. If your details are incorrect or for an old account, you will be charged £8.33’ + VAT.

Multiple Ticket Dependency

Need to restrict the purchase of certain ticket types? For example, you may want child or car parking tickets only available to purchase when an adult ticket is purchased.

Ticket dependency has been a Skiddle feature for a while, but it was limited to 1 ticket unlocking 1 other ticket. We’ve just upgraded this feature so you can now have multiple tickets triggering an unlock. This is great if you have multiple adult ticket types unlocking a child ticket. Or multiple entry tickets unlocking a car parking ticket, for instance.
