Skiddle’s London Promoter Social 2022 | The Review

Last Thursday, we hosted our annual London Promoter Social in the street art district of East London, Shoreditch. Taking over one of the area’s most unique event spaces, former railway ticket hall turned multifaceted venue, Kachette, we invited some of our existing promoter friends along with new event teams and musically affiliated brands in the area, to learn about Skiddle and how their businesses can benefit by collaborating with our brand.

In conjunction with our 21st birthday celebrations, taking place throughout the year, the event/party offered free refreshments to all those present, courtesy of Manchester Union Brewery, as well as a take-home goodie bag filled with Skiddle merchandise. And what Skiddle birthday/promoter social would be complete without a second-to-none soundtrack? Night Tales resident, Dan Whitehead was on hand to see the event was suitably soundtracked.

With conversation naturally flowing, the food was served – a selection of Mexican horderves provided by the experienced event chefs behind Cater London. Free drinks, free food, quality tunes… What more could you want?

Many fantastic conversations were had ultimately concluding in new, professional working relationships. Amongst just some of the promoters, we had the pleasure of speaking to include 51st State Festival, Dream Valley Festival, E1, UKG Brunch, Weyfest and Connected Festival.

As previously mentioned, we also welcomed some amazing brands. The likes of Miss Guided, Deliveroo, Songkick and Beavertown Brewery were all represented. You’ll have also, no doubt, witnessed the Skiddle Marketing team running around with a camera and microphone, keen to quiz guests with random questions and their thoughts on the night (we’re pleased to say that everyone was having a good time).

This wasn’t you’re typical night of Industry chatter, where you’re presented with an endless tidal wave of statistics and jargon. The Skiddle Promoter Social was a chance to experience the personality of our brand, to get to know the people who work within the company and the hard graft that they put in year on year, to promote the most amazing events in the UK.

Stay tuned for more details regarding our next Promoter Social event, coming to a city near you soon.
