The Skiddle Industry Drop-in comes to Glasgow’s BAaD this November
Due to the resounding success of our debut event, held within the loft of popular Birmingham rave space, Lab11, the Skiddle Industry Drop-in is back! And this time, it’s heading north of the English border to the musical capital of Scotland – Glasgow.
Commandeering one of the city’s most unique live event spaces, Barras Art and Design (BAaD), on Thursday the 16th of November, those who attend can expect a varied programme comprised of Skiddle feature demonstrations, led by our expert Customer and Account Support teams, industry-focused panels, one-on-one meetings and roundtable discussions featuring a host of famous faces and figureheads.
Among those set to appear and share their expertise on the day are the likes of superstar DJ and event promoter, Frazi.er. Amassing acclaim from live audiences around the world for his unique brand of rave-infused techno, he’s graced stages in more than 30 countries and boasts releases on respected labels such as EXHALE, Hydraulix, and Sleaze Records.
Fellow Scotsmen, Derek Martin, the seasoned festival director behind Terminal V and EE Live, and Ali Coban, the fast-rising professional heading up AC Live Promotions and booking agency, ACLP, have both confirmed their attendance, collectively boasting years of experience in organising and running live events in Scotland.

Linchpin of the British nighttime economy, CEO of the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) and co-founding member of the National Promoter Society (NPS), Michael Kill also returns for our second edition of the Skiddle Industry Drop-in, once again providing his encyclopedic knowledge of all things regarding live events, nightlife and culture.
Further guests have yet to be announced for the event including more speakers to appear on our panel, dealing with the current challenges facing event organisers in Scotland in 2023. Watch this space for more details in the weeks to come.
Rounding off what is set to be a thought-provoking and truly inspiring day of networking and meaningful conversation, the Skiddle social event will afford all present the time to relax and engage with their fellow attendees over a chilled beverage or two.
