We’ve just made track and trace data collection a whole lot easier…

Did you know that in the UK, by law, each venue has to collect contact details from every attendee at their venue for track and trace, or face a hefty fine of up to £10,000 for repeat penalties? But don’t worry, we’re the only ticketing company who’s got you sorted.

After purchasing tickets for an event, customers will be required to provide details for each member of their party when they download their tickets at any time before the event. These details include:

• First name / last name
• Email
• Phone
• Postcode

The new feature has launched on both the Skiddle app and website, to save promoters time and hassle by obtaining customer information prior to the event thus saving queue time and additional staffing at the venue.

This means the data that legally needs to be collected for Track and Trace purposes will all be done prior to the customers arriving meaning you will not need clipboards, QR codes, etc to gather this information.
