What are you thinking?

Booking Fee Credit has launched

As you may or not know, it is industry standard amongst ticket agents to retain booking fees when events are cancelled or postponed, due to the costs of processing bookings and refunds. Skiddle is one of the very few ticket agents to have refunded booking fees in full. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been forced to rethink this policy for cash flow reasons, so have instead developed a Booking Fee Credit system.

Skiddle remains the only ticket agent to offer credit on booking fees. It’s a straightforward process for your customers too. When their ticket(s) is refunded, they will get the option to claim their full booking fee as a credit, which is then stored on their account until they next place an order. Booking fee credit can be redeemed on any event within the next 12 months. All customers need to do is click tick to apply it to their order when completing the payment process at the checkout.

There are no cost implications for you at all. If you would like to read more about this new system.

RapidScan

If you’re planning an event for later in the year, remember our RapidScan entry technology is ideal when looking to limit physical contact. Our RapidScan scanners can scan PDF or mobile tickets without any contact. They can even be set to scan automatically, so your scanning staff can remain outside of the scanning lanes. Due to the speed of scanning, RapidScan also reduces the time your customers need to queue in lanes, which could be critical over the next few months.

We can also provide help planning your entry lanes, based on data from 1000s of events, to ensure the quickest and safest entry.

What do you think?

As we eagerly await news from the authorities on when the events we love and work on can resume, it’s important to start planning for what changes are likely to come. We really want to hear from you now about your concerns around events in the future, and what ideas you’re working on. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below, so we can better understand exactly what our event organisers need from Skiddle.
