The Great Escape is upon us. No, we’re not talking about Steve McQueen on a motorbike, or West Brom’s miraculous escape from the drop zone of the Premier League in 2005. We’re talking about Brighton’s annual music festival, where the hottest up-and-coming acts play across several venues in the city.
Alongside the music is a series of conferences that will cover topics related to the music and events industry. Here, you’ll be able to hear from YolanDa Brown, musician, Chair of BPI and Chair of Youth Music, Afro Nation co-founder Smade and many more experts who will pass on gems to their audience.
We’ll be there, too.
Join us at Ollie’s Jerk Shack for our Rooftop Rum Shaker event. On Thursday, 11th May, you’ll be able to connect with your fellow promoters and our staff over drinks and dinner from 16:00-18:00.
When we talk about being ‘More Than A Ticket Shop’, it’s not just a snappy tagline. It’s crucial to create a space for promoters to chat with each other, share ideas and catch up on the latest happenings in the event industry.
In any profession, knowing you have support from your peers can help you through the tough times. It’s the same with event promotion. Sometimes, you’re promoting events on your own, or you don’t have a large network.
So, we’re really excited to be organising an event like this. It’s our way of providing some extra help to the promoters that work tirelessly to organise knockout events for their audiences.
Fancy great food, great drinks and a great chat? View the event here and Get in touch with Duncan King at email@example.com if you’d like to get involved.
